This hat was made, after many other frustrating and unacceptable hats, for Chris. It's a strange hat, to be sure, but his is a strange head. That is to say, he doesn't mind looking a bit odd for the sake of warm ears on a snowboard.
It's a fairly simple pattern, started in the flat and worked up to the top by joining in the round. I'm pleased to say the people at Knitty like it as much as we do, because that is where it's been published for your free use and viewing enjoyment.
